FLOCK RAYON

viscose fibers

WHAT IS RAYON FLOCK?

It is a man-made fibre available in a wide range of thicknesses. Viscose Flock fibre is used in many different applications.
Surfaces flocked with viscose can be bright and/or dull. They can be soft like suede or compact like velvet. It has a fairly good resistance to abrasion depending on the type of flock.

GROUND RAYON FLOCK

This is made from discontinuous pieces of viscose rayon threads that are suitable for grinding, but not for cutting.

The flocked surfaces have a fairly soft feel and a fairly good resistance to abrasion.

RAYON VISCOSE FLOCK

This is made from rayon viscose Tow (parallel continuous fibres). Rayon viscose is referred to as a man-made, not synthetic, fibre because it is obtained from cellulose which comes from wood. As a result it is a biodegradable fibre.
