It is a very strong synthetic fibre highly resistant to heat, humidity and time. It is available in various diameters of the fibres. Low fibre deniers (microfibers from 0.1 to 0.5 Dtex) can be used to make a very lightweight flock to create surfaces that are similar to natural leather. The characteristics of surfaces flocked with polyester flock are similar to those of nylon flock.
