From the rejects of velvet produced by this firm, the Casati founders got the idea for the creation of decorative patterns with a velvet-like effect. They put the same rejects in special spray guns to apply them on lampshades previously covered with glue to fix the fibre to the textile’s base.
This process inspired the flocking method and the idea to produce on one's own the first matter without using the scraps of other textile workings.
The flock, for its lightness and the final shape, similar to the powder completely identifies itself with this word.
F.lli Casati is a medium-size company that meets specific and individual customer's requests in a strikingly flexible way.

It works on commission, reproducing any colour, applying different types of dye: direct, solid, reactive, nylon, indanthrene, sulphur. Besides, it can even day any polyester fibre at a pressure of 130°.
It has an equipped workshop to perform various tests of solidity in compliance with UNI EN ISO regulations and to continually check the technical features of flock: conductivity, electrostatic drop, wetting level, residual of sieving.
It produces state-of-the-art samples (almost 0.3 Kg each) and it can use different flocking techniques according to the clients’ demands.
For many years now, F.lli Casati is member of prestigious institutions and associations aimed at promoting and developing the textile sector both in Europe and all over the world.
